At Vila Vipolže, we act in an environmentally friendly manner in all areas and inform our visitors and guests about the importance of a sustainable approach. Doing so is beneficial for the natural environment and for all of us who are part of it. Even small measures help a lot, which do not mean a lot of effort and sacrifice for any of us. But if we tackle them together, we can change the world for the better and leave it to our descendants at least as we got it from our ancestors.

We treat ourselves to drinking water and pay attention to its consumption. We can proudly say that our water is drinkable! In Slovenia, we drink exceptionally clean and high-quality water straight from the tap. That's why we have to treat it with care and respect, every drop counts!

We treat waste responsibly and separate it. We separate waste in accordance with the instructions. We always dispose of waste in appropriate containers and never in nature or in drains. Improper handling of waste pollutes groundwater and other sources of drinking water, as well as our beautiful environment. We do our best to dispose of waste in separate containers!

We reduce the use of plastic. As many as 6.4 million tons of plastic end up in the environment per year. These plastic particles invade our bodies and have a major impact not only on the environment, but also on the quality of our health. Let's avoid using single-use plastic products!

We carefully turn off the lights. We use energy saving/LED bulbs. We turn off the lights when we don't need them. In this way, we contribute to lower electricity consumption and the preservation of the environment.

Any trip/sightseeing you do by bike or on foot instead of a car is an environmentally friendly act. In this way, we can get to know the environment in a completely different way. We take care of the economical use of detergents and water when washing. Tons of detergents and millions of liters of water are used every day around the world to wash single-use towels and bedding. Bed linen and towels in our rooms are therefore only changed with each change of guests, or at your express request.
